LuminoCity Festival takes place during the holiday season on Randall’s Island in New York City. Along with over 10 acres of light art, the festival includes vendors from all around the city, dino rides, an official gift shop and a beautiful mini gallery. The entire event is specially designed and curated to be a one of a kind immersive experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution via phone, email, mail, or social media
  • Proficiently operate ticketing platforms to track customers’ orders, tickets, or scan-in information and provide appropriate feedback
  • Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints and report to Marketing and Administrative teams on a regular basis
  • Familiar with the shipping platform to manage orders by creating shipping and return labels
  • Manage the merchandise delivery process, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service
  • Respond quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested

Requirements

  • Proven customer support experience
  • Flexibility in communication with unsatisfied customers
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiar with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • College degree preferred

Working Hours

  • Before event: Monday - Friday 10:00 - 7:00 PM EST
  • During event: Non-festival Dates: 10:00 - 7:00 PM EST, Festival Dates: 12:00 - 9:00 PM EST

This is a contract-to-hire job. 3+ month contract with possibility of long term.

Job Types: Temporary, Contract

Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,500.00 per month
